libdistro-info-perl software package provides information about distributions releases (Perl module), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdistro-info-perl
libdistro-info-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdistro-info-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdistro-info-perl *
You will get with libdistro-info-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
